For a homeless person, as well as for a stray animal , life on the streets can become the hardest and saddest thing to bear.

However, sometimes just the souls that share the same misfortune cross paths like a caress of fate. And together, they learn to deal with hunger, cold and homelessness, aware that having each other is enough.

Although they suffer the unspeakable day by day for enduring the inclement weather, ingratitude, loneliness, mistreatment… Their bond becomes more than indestructible. And without having material possessions, they are convinced that they have it all.

But, it also breaks our souls to see older people whose only company can be the hard and cold ground on a freezing winter night.

However, moving images also emerge, which within the bleak, leave us speechless and invite us to reflect for a few moments on what are the true values that anchor our lives.

An image that was captured in the middle of the street, which has already gone around the world, was published on various social media platforms .

It is about a homeless man sleeping peacefully, as if he truly did not have any worries. And how not to do it, if he has the best and most faithful four-legged angel next to him, to whom he clings in his arms.

The same thing happens to his beloved Firulais, despite being very cold and hungry, he knows that he has everything together with his faithful companion. 

What more can you ask of life?… An image for which words are superfluous

It is an image that reveals the sad face of poverty and indigence, but also the tenderness of love and the light of hope.

The unfortunate thing is that it not only reflects the harshness of the streets, but the man and his friend were seen before everyone’s eyes. And yes, starring in a beautiful scene, close together, giving affection and comfort to each other, but no one stopped to do anything for them.

Luckily, man can count on the unconditional love of a faithful friend, a guardian angel without wings, but with four legs.

While the little dog doesn’t care if his human companion isn’t wealthy, he just remains loyal to him, knowing how hard he works to feed him and give him love and protection.

He is and will remain there with his owner, no matter what.

Two souls can be serene and happy together, even if they lack everything, the important thing is that there is a mysterious and magnificent bond between them that gives them strength and the confidence to persevere in their fight, every day.

But, we do not stop asking ourselves: How did they get to be in this situation? Have you ever shared a house together? Have you ever shared bites of food from the same plate? Or did the man find the dog on the road and take the animal for his own?

These are questions that will never be answered, because unfortunately it is unknown where the events occurred. But, one thing is clear: despite how much they both love each other, now they need help, something that seems not to be a priority for those who pass by.

The interpretation of this scene can be too romantic or fictional, but it can certainly serve as a starting point to learn what respect, empathy, loyalty and true love mean.
